"Had I not found God, I would probably be a good-for-nothing drug-addict, or even worse, dead" says Zoltán Gera. The head of the Hungarian national football team was unable to live normally for years until the day he visited Faith Church and heard of Jesus Christ. It was there that he found God, broke out of poverty and into fame.

How is it, then, that Gera Zoli is so bold in confessing his faith to everyone? Zoli believes that there are many people like him, whose only chance for changing their lifestyle is Jesus.

"Many say that they believe in God, and think that's enough. But the Bible says that faith without actions is dead. It is no use talking about faith when your actions contradict you. Jesus says that those people love me who follow my commands. If somebody only says "I believe", that really doesn't mean much" - explains Zoli, who says that the principles of the Bible work in his life."

"My favourite verse in the Bible is that even the young grow weary, but they that trust in the Lord shall renew their strength . This is exactly what happened in my life. The Bible has a message for every area of our lives. Work, football, our relationships with other people. I have profited a lot from my faith with regards to my profession, how to prepare for each game. The Word of God which is preached in Faith Church has strengthened and taught me in every area of my life."
