A villanymotorok egyébként 135 km/h-ig önállóan tudják vinni a RAV4-et, és ami kifejezetten érdekes, hogy EV üzemmódban – amely minden induláskor magától bekapcsolódik –

még padlógázra sem indul be a benzinmotor,

ami vészhelyzetben, amikor gyorsan be kell fejezni egy előzést, nem biztos, hogy előnyös. Villanyautóként használva egyébként 60-ig egész dinamikusan gyorsul a Toyota, utána viszont már csak nehézkesen éri el a 100-at, összességében 11 másodperc kellett neki a saját mérésem alapján.

Az Auto EV/HV mód ugyanaz, mint az EV, azt leszámítva, hogy ebben padlógázra végre beindul a benzines is. Van még HV – vagyis hibrid mód, amelyben megkaphatjuk mind a 306 lóerőt, és a 6 másodperces gyorsulást, ami egyébként csak 0,8 másodperccel gyengébb, mint a négyhengeres Supra ideje.

A sima hibridhez képest másfélszer erősebb az első villanymotor, emiatt

a benzinmotornak nem kell erőlködnie,

ami kifejezetten hasznos, ha egy szívómotoros, CVT-váltós, nagy autóról van szó. Így ugyanis tényleg csak tartós padlógáznál kezd el bőgni a motor, amúgy azt is nehéz észrevenni, hogy egyáltalán velünk van. Kivéve, ha bekapcsoltuk a negyedik üzemmódot, a Charge-ot, amelyben a benzinmotor menet közben tölti az akkut. Ez csak akkor hasznos, ha tudjuk, hogy az utunk során zéró emissziós városi zónát is érinteni fogunk, bár ilyen Magyarországon még nem létezik.

Érezni a túlsúlyt

Ha takarékos, csendes és megbízható, akkor mi lehet a baj vele? Hát az, hogy nem túl jó vezetni. Mondom ezt úgy, hogy sok éven át volt Priusom, és azt sem a klasszikus vezetési élményért veszi az ember. Tehát pontosan tisztában vagyok azzal, hogy egy hibrid sosem szeret igazán menni, mert akkor nem lesz takarékos. Ugyan a konnektoros RAV4 a Priusszal ellentétben rettenetesen meg tud indulni, de ennek ellenére ez is úgy van hangolva, hogy ne akarjuk nyomni neki.

Ez nem is baj, az csak akkor jön, ha kanyarodni kell, akkor ugyanis tohonyán viselkedik. Nem az igazi a futómű, mert kis tempónál kicsit ráz a PHEV, aztán kissé imbolyog és túlkormányzottnak érződik, valahogy

kevésbé mozog ügyesen, mint a sima hibrid.

Egy decemberi jávorszarvas-teszt is bizonyította, hogy ki tud törni a fara, amire aztán a menetstabilizáló áthangolásával azonnal reagált a Toyota, de a súlyelosztáson nem tudtak változtatni.

Az lehet a magyarázat a menettulajdonságokra, hogy a RAV4-et alapvetően sima hibridnek tervezték. Folyamatosan olyan érzése van az embernek, mintha állandóan bent ülne még 2-3 felnőtt, a csomagtartóban meg lenne 40 négyzetméter járólap. A Toyota szerint a 18,1 kWh-s, padlóba épített lítium-ion akkumulátor 200 kilót nyom, ezt én el is hiszem, de a katalógusadatok szerint mégis

270 kiló a különbség a normál összkerekes hibrid és a PHEV között

(a fronthajtású hibrid 320 kilóval könnyebb).

Persze erősítettek a rugózáson és a fékeken, de ettől még érződik, hogy a RAV4 PHEV tömege a TNGA-K platform határait feszegeti. Ez érződik a vontatható tömegen is: fékezett utánfutóból legfeljebb 1500 kilósat köthetünk a konnektoros mögé, míg a sima összkerekes RAV4 hibrid 1650, a nem hibrid benzines viszont 2000 kg tömegűt is elhúzhat.

Kinek éri meg?

Aki egy nap 60-70 km-nél többet nem tesz meg (és ők vannak döntő többségben az utakon), és van otthon egy töltésre alkalmas garázsa vagy kertje, annak ideális autó lehet a RAV4 PHEV, hiszen évente csak pár alkalommal kell tankolnia, amikor nyaralásra vagy a vidéki rokonlátogatásra indul (nekik ezért érdemes lehet a kisebb etanol tartalmú, tartósabb 100-as benzint tankolni). Budapesten és sok városban a járvány után is ingyenes lesz a parkolás a zöld rendszámmal, és az sem mindegy, hogy a több mint 300 lóerős PHEV jóval fürgébb, mint a sima hibrid.

Azonban a köztük lévő durva árkülönbözetet (azonos felszereltség esetén 6,78 millió a fronthajtású, és 5,98 millió az összkerekes esetében) a

18,3 milliós alapárú RAV4 PHEV

a gyakorlatban sosem fogja behozni, hiszen, ha otthoni áramról töltjük akkor is kb. 2 literes benzinfogasztásnak megfelelő összegbe kerül vele 100 kilométer megtétele, a mára nagyon megdrágult nyilvános töltőket meg hagyjuk is. Azt se felejtsük el, hogy az árkülönbség akár 7,35 millió is lehet, ha a legszerényebb (Active) felszereltségű öntöltő hibridet hasonlítjuk össze a belépő PHEV (Comfort) árával.

Olcsóbbak a konkurensek

A konkurenciához mérten is drága a konnektoros RAV4, például a szintén Toyota hibrid rendszert használó, 225 lóerős Ford Kuga PHEV-et 13,83 millióért, a 224 lóerős Opel Grandland X-et 14,3 millióért, az új, 265 lóerős Hyundai Tucsont 14 millióért is el lehet hozni. A Toyotával azonos autónak tekinthető Suzuki Across csak egyféle felszereltséggel kapható 19,3 millióért, ez nagyjából a középső felszereltségű, 19,79 milliós RAV4 PHEV Selection extrázottságát hozza.

A konnektoros hibridek értelme az, hogy egy csomagban kap az ember egy használható hatótávú elektromos autót és egy hosszú távon is bevethető, takarékos és erős SUV-ot. Viszont a csúcsfelszereltségű (Selection VIP) RAV4 PHEV

tesztautó ára 21,3 millió forint,

ez pedig már vastagon a prémium kategória felségterülete. Ennyiből majdnem kijön egy szerényebb villanyautó állami támogatással – mondjuk egy jópofa Mazda MX-30 – és lehet mellé venni egy rendesen megcsinált, élvezetesen vezethető hibrid SUV-ot. Például egy RAV4-et.
