A Manchester City könnyedén jutott tovább az angol labdarúgó FA-kupa nyolcaddöntőjébe, miután hazai pályán 4-0-ra legyőzte a másodosztályú Fulhamet.

A találkozó 6. percében nagy bajba kerültek a vendégek, hiszen Tim Ream utolsó emberként rántotta le a kilépő Gabriel Jesust, a játékvezető pedig kiállította a londoniak hátvédjét. A City Gündogan révén szinte azonnal kihasználta az emberelőnyt, Bernardo Silva pedig még az első félidőben megduplázta az előnyt.
