Two years ago, Dubai's skyscraper-studded skyline welcomed a fresh addition: a massive ferris wheel, touted as the world's largest, but which mysteriously stopped turning only months after it was inaugurated. The so-called Ain Dubai (Dubai Eye) was intended as a tourist-luring landmark in the United Arab Emirates' glam-hub, which is also home to the world's tallest building.
