Has got his MD degree from the Medical University of Budapest in 1968 and became Candidate of medical sciences in 1979. In 1998 he received his PhD degree. Since 1968 he had worked at the 2. Medical Clinic of the Semmelweis Medical University; first as clinical associate, later as assistant professor. In 1982 he became Head of Department, Senior Lecturer. Since 1991 he has been the head physician at the Clinical Immunological and Allergology Department of the Institute of Rheumatology and Physiotherapy, and since 2000 he is Head of Department of Allergy and Immunology at the Hospital of the Hospitaller Brothers of St John in Buda. Since 1999 he is Professor of the Semmelweis University, since 2004 Professor of the Debrecen Medical University. He delivers lectures and courses in the field of allergology and clinical immunology for graduate students and in postgraduate CME at the Semmelweis Medical University. He is member of several Hungarian and international societies of immunology and allergology. Since 2001 he is the President of the Hungarian Society of Allergology and Clinical Immunology, President of CEFCAP and Chairman of the Ethics Committee of the European Academy of Allergology and Clinical Immunology.
