Linguist

After graduating from university he was the editor of Kriterion Publishing House in Bucharest from 1972 to 1990. From 1990 to 1999 he was senior lecturer and from 1999 reader at the Hungarian Language and Culture Department of the Arts Faculty (now known as the Hungarian and General Linguistics Department) of the Babes-Bolyai University. He is a member of the Association of Museums in Transylvania and the public body of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
