Physicist

He was born in Budapest on 2 May 1936. He graduated from the Physics Department of Eötvös Lóránd University. He became a Doctor of physics in 1975. He specialises in nuclear reaction theory and the theory of multi-particles scattering. He worked out new precise integral equations on the N particle transition operators with minimal coupling (Bencze equations, 1973). With two American colleagues, he also worked out the exact algebraic theory of the scattering of identical particles in the frame of both stationary and time-dependent formalism (1979-1982). He has received a number of awards and prizes and is a visiting professor at leading international universities.
