A spanyol Maverick Vinales nyerte meg a MotoGP kategória versenyét a gyorsaságimotoros-világbajnokság idei első futamán, a Katari Nagydíjon.

A mindössze 22 éves versenyző az olasz Andrea Doviziosót, illetve csapattársát, a kilencszeres világbajnok Valentino Rossit megelőzve győzött első versenyén új istállójával.
